As part of the thesis, a curriculum on Middle Eastern art was developed by the researcher, then taught in area high schools. The art in this exhibit was created by the high school students that participated in the lessons. Come and see the students' giant paper mache minarets, Iznik inspired tiles, zoomorphic calligraphy and textile designs!

The exhibit will run from November 23 - November 28.

An open reception will be held on November 23, 2003 from 2-4 p.m.

The exhibit and gallery will be held in the New Gallery, 1st floor in the Dean of Fine Arts Bldg., 23rd and Trinity, The University of Texas at Austin
